A day on the west coast always a great day but when the weather is bright and clear it is truly magical!!  Another piece going the Anonymous Show at the North Vancouver Arts Council Gallery!  

Many sweet little cabins, just like this one, still nestle on Hollyburn Mountain.

San Josef Bay is at the northern end of Vancouver Island within Cape Scott Provincial Park.  The sea stacks at one end of the beach are a fun sight to see and walk around.

A 2.5 km walk into the beach at San Josef Bay is worth the effort.  The beach is a beautiful sight to see!

It’s a short walk into a big beach at Grant Bay  on the west coast.   It’s always a perfect day when I set up and paint on the beach.

I painted the more formal gardens with established structure of  Van Dusen Botanical Gardens.  I had to paint this piece in a hurry as one of the gardeners asked me to move.

I painted this little piece in the  Sunflower Garden in Van Dusen Botanical Gardens.  The Sunflower faces all look towards the sun.

So many great memories of the wonderful little town of Lahaina, Maui.  The fire that destroyed the town of Lahaina, Maui is now a sad fact of life and will always be hard to accept.
