I started with a sketch intending to do a painting, but very quickly the sketch took on a life of its own and captured a rare glimpse of a little girl who rarely sits still. Haha! So I put a fixative and a sealer on the sketch and called it done.
A very windy day and the ocean was moving and crashing around creating many shades of white near the shore. Turbulent Water for turbulent times.
On a boat and on our way back from Indian Arm the sun was setting behind the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge and the train bridge. The colours streaking across the sky caught my attention.
