This piece was painted plein air, in the “Paint on the Mountain” 2020 invitational competition. So fun to participate and meet other plein air artists!! There is a small stream, named Godman Creek, that meanders through the designated painting area with a small pool that opened up revealing nice reflections.

I was painting outdoors at the beach and the seagulls became very interested in what I was doing. As the seagulls will not pose for any length of time, I began taking a few photos of the gulls and caught this one who looked at me out of one eye!!
