Okay not entirely woodwork!! The little bird is made from hand painted light weight unbleached cotton, a wire frame that holds the shape of the body and makes the legs and feet. The feet are then screwed onto an appropriate piece of drift wood.

A member of a series of beach boats called the “Drifters”. Pirate is a party boat sporting its party flags. The cabin is pegged and glued to the hull. Wooden pegs painted black hold the boat to its base.
