Last week I painted at Locarno Beach and I made a start on this painting.  It was a windy day and not very warm but I managed to get in all the detail I needed before I packed up and headed for home where  I finished it up.

This couple were enjoying an early morning walk on the beach!  The colours in the water were fun to paint!  

The human form shaped with shadows and the colours in the ocean are what attracted me to paint this piece.  I am always uplifted by the sea and the warm weather!

Nothing better than painting on a beautiful day on Dundarave Beach!!  I loved the visual of the logs on the beach so I positioned myself on the beach to get a great vantage point.
