Moment of Peace 12 x 12, acrylic on canvas
The sun has just gone below the horizon and the iconic sea stack of the west coast stands with a majestic grandeur. They always cause me to stop and admire them.

The incoming tide at Chesterman Beach fills the little sand ripples and grooves creating wonderful patterns picking up the sky’s reflections. The familiar Frank Island is very unique because it is accessible at low tide.
Painted for BC Children’s Hospital Card Program 2023. A string of lights are looped over the snowman’s arms and light him up in the snowy winter forest.
This piece was painted for BC Children’s Holiday Card Program. A cold crisp day in the mountain and a little girl has fun going nose to nose with her snowman friend!
Stearman beach has a stream running across the beach heading to the ocean. The kids have such a fun time playing in this shallow gentle stream!
This little piece was painted for a good friend who heads up a fundraiser for GOGOs, which is an organization that supports grandmothers in Africa raising orphaned grandchildren. My friend is an amazing person, painter and a lawn bowler! Capturing the body language of the lawn bowlers made this a fun one to paint.
Located right under the Granville Street Bridge, Granville Island is a unique place that is home to the Federation of Canadian Artists Gallery as well as artist’s studios. Aa well there is a wonderful market, restaurants, many shops and water activities. A great place to visit!
I was on a boat when I took the photo as the sun was heading towards the horizon. The pink colours of the beautiful sky reflecting in the water made for a inspiration starting point for a painting!
I painted this piece plein air on a lovely day in Stanley Park when the tennis courts were in full action. The building in the background is the Stanley Park Brewing Restaurant.
