Looking across Burrard Inlet to Point Grey and UBC the sailboats stand out against the darker point of land. Typically the weather that brings rain and winds comes from the southeast and this is exactly captured in this painting. For a sailer, reading the wind correctly is absolutely paramount to winning the race!
