This scene brought a smile to my face as a funny moment in time! Of all the places to cross the road the Canada Goose chose the cross walk and took its sweet time crossing the road! This was on Beach Avenue.

I was painting at Van Dusen Botanical Gardens May 1 and the Narcissus were so fresh and beautiful. The white against the green stems and leaves really caught my attention!

Lovely Stearman Beach has a unique little creek that runs to the beach from the mountains. The little creek makes for creative water patterns on the beach.

Dundarave is a little village comprised of a few shops, restaurants, a pier, beach park and the wonderful beach of course.

The Point Atkinson Lighthouse is located in the Lighthouse Park. First built as a wooden structure in 1875, the lighthouse was reconstructed in concrete in 1914. Ten Kilometres of trails wind around Lighthouse Park and although access to the lighthouse is not possible some trails lead to great views!
