Limelight 8 x 10, oil on board
Limelight was painted plein air on a rainy day in the forest of Cypress Bowl for the Paint on the Mountain Competition. The beautiful lime greens of the mosses literally lit up the forest on this cloudy rainy day.

This lovely little waterfall is in Ontario in the region of Algoma near Wawa. Although not as big as some of the other waterfalls the amount of water cascading over is impressive!
The trees grow strong and proud on a west coast sea stack!
The eastern skies hold the clouds in a way that they seem to go on and on forever! Painted in Algonquin Park at Lake of Two Rivers.
The expanse of the west coast beaches always impresses every time I go there!
A windy day when the trees on the little island out in the lake were hanging on for all they were worth! A very pleasurable day painting plein air beside a lake.
Painted for a good friend that I enjoyed spending time with in Hawaii!
A very fun one to paint for a new baby that is soon to arrive!!
A lovely little tree covered islet. The west coast is dotted with tiny islets that have existed for centuries standing strong.
