I think islands are much like artists. Just as islands exist silently in their own space, artists are often in their own space, quietly letting their creative juices flow. I painted a little sketch of the same image and it appealed to me so much that I painted a larger version.

At almost 4000 feet the Majestic Mount Robson is located in the British Columbia Rocky mountains. It stands high above Berg Lake and the glaciers that reside on Mount Robson calve directly into the lake giving the lake its colour.
