Painted plein air at the western end of Spanish Banks on a lovely day. The tide was on its way out, so speed was of the essence to capture the dark reflection, of the trees on the point, in the fast receding water. Upon completion of the painting, my favourite bit is the rocks on the point and the light dictating their shape.
