At an elevation of 7,470 feet, Opabin Lake is the main feature on the Opabin Plateau. Recently I had the privilege of hiking in Yoho National Park and Opabin Lake was one of our destinations. The day was a blue bird day, the views along the way were stunning and the glacial fed lake was beyond beautiful!! The small tree in the foreground is a larch which turns golden in the fall.
