As the summer comes to and end for this year and the autumn days creep upon me, I am grateful for the warm days that consistently draw me outside.  I painted this piece plein air at Whytecliff Park.  I painted this on standing on the edge of the beach while taking in the far off views of Point Grey, a tip of the West Vancouver landscape and Whyte Islet with its trail of rocks that are accessible at low tide.  The sun was hanging high in the sky and lighting up a cloud that reflected across the water.
