I was painting at Van Dusen Botanical Gardens May 1 and the Narcissus were so fresh and beautiful. The white against the green stems and leaves really caught my attention!

Lovely Stearman Beach has a unique little creek that runs to the beach from the mountains. The little creek makes for creative water patterns on the beach.

Dundarave is a little village comprised of a few shops, restaurants, a pier, beach park and the wonderful beach of course.

The Point Atkinson Lighthouse is located in the Lighthouse Park. First built as a wooden structure in 1875, the lighthouse was reconstructed in concrete in 1914. Ten Kilometres of trails wind around Lighthouse Park and although access to the lighthouse is not possible some trails lead to great views!

A tiny islet lives in a clear green sea. The water is so crystal clear that the rock edges of the islet are visible under the water.

The cutest tiny islet sits at the entrance to Telegraph Cove. It reflects the colours of the trees into the water creating a wonderful pattern.

The sun has just gone below the horizon and the iconic sea stack of the west coast stands with a majestic grandeur. They always cause me to stop and admire them.

The incoming tide at Chesterman Beach fills the little sand ripples and grooves creating wonderful patterns picking up the sky’s reflections. The familiar Frank Island is very unique because it is accessible at low tide.
