At low tide a lovely little Sea Stack stands strong on the west coast.
In a silent wintery landscape, a friendly bear observes the soft snow coming down. He is looking forward to a long winter’s nap!
A little fox is excited about the winter bringing the first snow of the season!
As winter encompasses the landscape, a little rabbit observes the first snow softly falling.
The lovely sea stack sits low in the ocean when the tide rises. Some stacks, such as this one, are located in a more protected tranquil environment and are not subjected to the raw and violent winds of the more open ocean. All the stacks have their own uniquely shaped and delightful collection of trees
A delightful little piece reflecting the feel of the West Coast and the wonderful sea stacks that are so iconic to the landscape! The permanently bent trees that cling to their home are so indicative of their west coast home!

This was fun one to paint and it was inspired by Bamfield and the rugged West Coast. I love the colours of the rock sea stacks and the trees that make their home on the sea stacks always fascinate me!
