A favourite beach of mine. As very small creek meanders across the beach on its way to the ocean and kids can often be seen having a fun time changing the creek’s course. This painting looks west, capturing the last light of the day.

A west coast island sits on an expansive beach landscape. The islet catches light as the sun is sinking towards the western horizon. The active wave pattern of the green ocean leads to the striking colours of the island habitat and then beyond to the distant trees.
