Across Indian Arm the sun rises above the distant landscape of Belcarra and beyond. The light of the morning reveals a calm and quiet morning in Deep Cove and offers beautiful colours reflecting in the water.
A favourite local beach that is alway fun to paint. I used to play on this beach when I was a kid and now I enjoy my grandchildren playing on the beach. This piece was donated to the Dundarave Preschool by the Sea for a fundraiser.
Painted close to home in amongst the never ending branches that weave through the forest allowing bits of light to fall through.
Painted at Whytcliff Park as the tide was coming in and the little Whyte Islet was becoming a true island surrounded by water. A beautiful day fading into a beautiful evening! The other islands in the scene are Passage Island on the left and the tip of Bowen Island on the right.
