Surrounded by ocean and these tiny sea stack offer their uniqueness to make up such a varied coastline.
This is a small glacial like at the top of Whistler. Fed by glacial runoff the colour of these lakes makes them truly beautiful gems nestled in the mountains. This lake is actually a reservoir for that feeds the snow making machines in the winter months.
The sun has disappeared for the day but its essence reflects across the ripples in the lake.
The western sky ablaze and windblown trees secure their place on their rock.
A soft quiet evening as the sun goes down on yet another day. West Coast trees stand tall and they are securely rooted on their island home.
Painted on location at Green Lake in the southern Cariboo region of British Columbia. This little island and its colours and reflections drew me in immediately and rushed to get it down on canvas.
