A classic site in the lift line at the bottom of the Harmony Chair (the old Blue Chair) at Whistler Mountain. The playful Whiskey Jacks circle above and occasionally perching on the top of a ski pole, hoping for a handout.

A gaggle of geese were out on the pond and I selected this particular one. I really liked the way she was moving toward me, yet something to her right caught her attention.
Whytecliff Park has always held a fascination with its little islet that is accessible at low tide and surrounded by the sea at a full tide. This was painted before the noon day sun and Whyte Islet had lovely shadows.
The West Coast can be ferocious or placid and calm. The is a day on the west coast when all was so contemplative and peaceful!! A delight to paint!
