Well preserved cottages, from the 1900’s, stand on stilts and rim the quiet tiny harbour of Telegraph Cove. In the early 1900’s Telegraph Cove was a fishing village and cannery. Today this quaint boardwalk village is an eco-tourist centre. The cute little island in the painting sits at the entrance to Telegraph Cove.
After a climb through a snowy mountain trail the forest opened up and we took a moment to take in the view.
As the sun filters through the landscape a graceful tree with snow laden branches claims a spot in the forest.
I wasn’t exactly real close to this bear who appeared in my yard but we did share some serious eye contact!
Anywhere on the big west coast is where I breathe in and feel the renewal of my soul. I love the trees have claimed their space on this particular sea stack!
This local black bear looks a little concerned because he is experiencing the first snow of the season and now needs to find shelter to hunker down for the winter.
