This piece was painted at Blanket Creek Provincial Park near Revelstoke, BC. The light was lower in the sky and the light coming through the trees was just perfect. There was a dog and his owner walking just ahead of us.
The sandy beach frames the reflection of the west coast sea stack.
An iconic view so typical of the west coast! I had such fun painting this sea stack! It has a strength of beauty all of its own!
