When touring around Newfoundland, I took a photo at Neddy Harbour, near Gros Morne National Park. The little yellow building echoed its clear reflection into the dark green waters. The jetty leading out to the house creates a nice lead into the focal point of the painting.
The sky and the light set the mood here and the little island serves as a darker contrast the luminous evening sky!! This piece was donated to the GoGo African Grandmothers Charity for the silent auction!!
A vast open spirit of the west coast allows for a huge skyscape to take up the space it needs. The clouds at the end of this particular day lead right to the typical west coast islet that are so typically iconic of the west coast.
A warm day with snow on the landscape floor. The snow had melted off the vegetation and the colour of the evergreens and deciduous trunks stood out. The sunny day casts a network of shadows across the white carpet ground.

The colours in the sky standout in a landscape that is composed of shades of white. The detail of the forest floor is covered with a white blanket and the shadows cast across the blanket.
Looking out to the “edge of the earth” this island stands guard just off the coast line. Sold at the NVAC Anonymous Show.
