Cabin Lake is found on Black Mountain in the Cypress Bowl Resort and is accessed only by hiking the 2.5 km trail up to it. It is definitely worth the hit to see this beautiful little lake and in the summer it is refreshing to jump in for a swim before the hike down.
Deep Cove is a picturesque west coast community with a lovely water front park and a pathway along the shoreline. The Deep Cove Yacht Club is home to a dock that provides access to the many boats that are moored there.
Passage Island is located at the entrance to Howe Sound. From this particular point of view, the island is a lovely focal point as the colourful sun layers across the sky spilling out across the water.
Weather dry docked for the winter or dry docked for maintenance and prepares, every boater looks forward to getting “her” back in the water to enjoy the serenity of the long warm summer days on the ocean.
Passage Island is located just off the West Vancouver shoreline. This particular day the island was framed by a big beautiful cloud.
The lovely seaside community of Deep Cove is located on the far eastern end of the District of North Vancouver. It is a wonderfully protected cove that is ideal for kayaking, home to 2 marinas and has a great summer swimming beach!
