Located in Indian, Arm, Granite Falls is quite a spectacular site! Water tumbles down rock faces and cliffs as it divides and weaves its way to the inlet. This piece was painted from a photo I took while out on the water.

This delicate pink carnation was a joy to paint and rolled off the brush very easily. I have heard that a pale pink carnation symbolizes appreciation. I like that.
