I painted today at Lower Cypress Bowl, looking east towards Stanley Park and the Lions Gate Bridge. Here this is the result. The dark clouds hung low in the sky in the morning, but the day just getting brighter and in the end it was a lovely sunny day! Most enjoyable!

The colours in the sky at the end of day, as the sun sets, are truly fleeting. It takes only minutes for the beauty of the light to disappear into the night.

The vast skies on the west coast allow for the most beautiful cloud formations. The clouds make a wonderful backdrop for the little sea stack!
