Within Botany Bay there lives a wonderful little sea stack that is such a beautiful example of the west coast scenery. It is a fun one to paint! Botany Bay is in Botanical Beach Provincial Park.
Many of the streets in Vancouver are lined with Cherry Blossom trees and in the spring a vision of pink is a beautiful sight.
The little islet off Whytecliff Park is accessible at low tide as an arc of rocks are exposed leading right to the islet. At high tide the little islet is again surrounded by the sea.
The light coming through the trees created a wonderful tapestry of colour on the forest floor.
A tiny painting that captures the boats at Eagle Harbour Yacht Club. The sun reflecting on the water se the stage for this piece.
I am painting one of my favourite places on the coast again!! The light and the tide change here all day long and it is always a treat to capture a moment in paint!
Well preserved cottages, from the 1900’s, stand on stilts and rim the quiet tiny harbour of Telegraph Cove. In the early 1900’s Telegraph Cove was a fishing village and cannery. Today this quaint boardwalk village is an eco-tourist centre. The cute little island in the painting sits at the entrance to Telegraph Cove.
