With so many lovely flowers out in bloom this time on year it is nice to take advantage of what is in the garden to set up a bouquet for painting!

I set up my light box with a few different floral bouquets. Here is the result and I am pretty happy with it! A prelude to a larger piece, perhaps. This was my first time painting on dura-lar, it is very smooth and the brush flows around the flowers with ease. Very Fun!!
No Place Like Home – SOLD 8 x 10, oil on board
Right in my own backyard, so close to home. Lovely to paint in the shade and observe the filtered sun patterns change momentarily throughout the day!

I have always loved the look of an Air Stream trailer. Such a classic! This one often parks close to where I often walk and the reflections on its walls are very fun to paint!
